N-Acetylcysteine
My primary care provider suggested I begin taking NAC , which I have now for about a month. Has anyone here had experience with it? I've read some studies related to MS and NAC with some encouraging results. I'm sure it's just coincidence, but my walking has been much better for the past three weeks

Dry Eyes and Contact Lens Question
I was prescribed
Acetylcysteine
preservative free from the optomologist which can be used with contacts. They said to ask the GP to prescribe it from now on. However the GP says they cannot prescribe preservative free so I have the preservative version which cannot be put in with contact lenses.

N-Acetylcysteine reducing antibodies?
I’m obviously happy, but I want to really know if it was the n-
acetylcysteine
or if something else could be the reason for the reduction in antibodies and maybe this is just a coincidence. Does anyone have info about n-
acetylcysteine
and it’s ability to reduce antibodies?

N-ACETYLCYSTEINE REDUCES LUPUS DISEASE ACTIVITY
I came across this study in Pubmed about a week ago and decided to give it a try. So far I am about almost one week into it. I do a combination of NAC, 1200mg 3 times daily and one Whey protein shake that gives me the equivalent of at least the additional 1200mg of NAC, so far no GI issues or anything

Further Questions - I hope you don't mind
She is currently using a 'Fostair' inhaler, 'Salamol' inhaler, Tiotropium and
Acetylcysteine
capsules - I've seen other posts where people are on different medications so am hoping my mums may get changed which will make an improvement. Any advice, reassurance or help would be greatly appreciated.

IPF research update - new developments in treatment
Recent studies into
Acetylcysteine
, Pirfenidone and Nintedanib have thrown up some interesting results, which may lead to changes in the way that some people are treated for IPF in future.
