Haemosiderin Staining Lower legs
My GP thinks this may not be a vascular problem, but that there may be a possibility of this discolouration being a side-effect of
Acalabrutinib
which I have been on for three years with great success.

Venetoclax for dummies
I tolerate
acalabrutinib
just fine. While many, if not most people, tolerate venetioclax very well, when I added it I had stomach problems and neutropenia.

POST 5 - CAR-T cell therapy
The proposal is now to commence
Acalabrutinib
in the next few weeks to try and reduce the disease burden. IF it works I may still be able to join the Trial. I feel it is unlikely to be effective in the short term, but maybe that is just how I am feeling at the moment.

cramping
I’ve been on
acalabrutinib
for about two weeks and on Imbruvica for approximately 6 months before that. In the past couple of weeks I have been having cramping in my legs, feet and back. This evening the muscles in my stomach cramped.

muscle and joint pain
Is muscle and joint pain after a month of starting
acalabrutinib
the cause of the
acalabrutinib
side effect or is it still the result of your body getting rid of white blood calls and causing higher uric acid causing gout in your muscles and joints?

Chemotherapy
My doctor wanted me to try the chemotherapy treatment of Calquence(
acalabrutinib
) tablets. For me the results was coming very slow but was working. At this point my numbers are very good after being on it for about 5 years. It's very expensive but was put in a program to help with cost.

Stem cell transplant starts on Monday
A bit of background - In October 2021 I had a rapid and florid relapse following the end of my Ibrutinib treatment in FLAIR so I was started on
Acalabrutinib
with no effect and also had investigations for Richter's.

Acalabrutinib and headaches
I started taking
acalabrutinib
in December last year. All went well for the first couple of weeks. However for the last 6 weeks I have been getting severe headaches from very early in the morning - usually around 1am - which can last for more than 6 hours. Pain relief doesn’t do any good at all.

Iron Levels with CLL
I also started taking
acalabrutinib
in May. I see a local doctor who didn't seem too concerned and I also see a doc in Cincinnati that says low iron is not normal with CLL/
acalabrutinib
, so he wants me to have an upper GI and colonoscopy. My last colonoscopy was in 2017 and they found no issues.

Reaction to Venetoclax?
He was on W&W until he started
Acalabrutinib
in January 2022. His WBC went down almost immediately. All was well until it wasn't.
