returning Sweets

I had sweets 20 years ago on my face. It took nearly a year of steroids for it to go. I thought that was it.

Over the last 6 months i had raised red/purple rashes on my legs didn't think anything about it until some said it can recur and when i looked at the rash there was no doubt it is sweets. I'm back on the steroids.

Has anyone else had an experience of it returning after such a long time?

Hi AMS2010,

Unfortunately, it's not unusual for SS to return or return after a long period of time. Sometimes, this indicates a new underlying condition or trigger, but not always. Hope your SS settles down soon. dermnetnz.org/topics/acute-...
