I have posted about my symptoms and bad consultations. After a year in a flair I am still in need of help. I was diagnosed by two biopsies initially. But I have been dismissed as a doctor said a blood test (by a private endo) which he glanced at , I think it was about the neutrophills, meant I did not have Sweet's. Is this correct? I feel very put down inspite of my symptoms. I know doctors think a blood test in thyroid disease is correct but they are wrong and symptoms should be looked at. I paid a private Endocrinologist for help and feel better now. I feel I am under attack with doctors and need to defend my actual symptoms. I have had to complain about the last telephone consultation and have asked for a knowledgeable doctor to be found for me. If I am not covered head to toe in awful lesions constantly doctors believe nothing I say.

Hi Faith12, SS patients normally have a raised neutrophil count. Biopsy most commonly shows dense neutrophilic infiltrate (lots of neutrophils in the tissues). SS can develop secondary to certain thyroid conditions.
