After two weeks, I finished week 1 of my Rowing 10k plan. It’s the third time in 3 years I’m training up to 10k again, as I’ve fallen into a 5k -30 min routine. But longer distances are so attractive for people like me, who are reasonably good at endurance , but not speed.
The numbers probably don’t mean much to most people, but in short: I DID GOOD!
What helps, was that my January birthday came with a Bluetooth portable speaker, and the sound is just amazing. And music helps me in any physical activity. So this is now my workout speaker connecting to my iPhone!
So it’s Friday and it’s been a good week for physical workouts, with three runs, two rows and the weekend is still ahead of me. I also walked a small bit, which is always a plus.
Only thing I don’t manage to squeeze into in these kinds of great workout weeks is a yoga session. The last one was on Sunday, but I have thought that in Feb I catch up with the handful of YWA I missed out on January.
Happy working out, everyone and may your workouts be filled with motivating music, as mine are!
