I am doing a daily January rowing challenge and on my plan today was an off the rower core-focussed circuit workout.
This happened to coincide with the Day 6 session of YWA Yoga with Adriene, and both the Row31 and the YWA focussed on similar exercises.
However, YWA was a gentle relaxing but still strenuous slow session, whereas Row31 was a quick, energetic fast circuit repeated 3 times. Basically, Row31’s workout was the YWA session on steroids! 🤣🥵🤣🥵
Both left me holding my abdominals, but have to admit I think I’ll be using YWA sessions fore core workouts! 🤣🧘🏾♀️🤣🧘🏾♀️🤣
That's interesting I might have a go at the rowing one as I know core strength is my problem. How do I find it directly on YouTube ? I had a quick look but couldn't see it .The difference between doing exercises slowly and taking time and then doing the same ones at speed is interesting. I know the Pilates teacher I use reckons slow and controlled is better.
I followed today's YWA with 45 minutes of Pilates focusing on leg strength and balance. I've been seriously neglecting Pilates over the last month and I'm sure that's one reason my running seems so much harder.
So my quest this month over on B210k is YWA, Pilates and physio exercises 💪💪💪
