4th Workout Advent : CBDB’s Weekly Countdown to Xmas

Ho, Ho, Ho! Only a few workouts to go! And so well done for having lifted, and stepped, and flexed and squatted!

We’re in our last week of our Advent workout countdown. Full introduction of this 4 week plan from the first Sunday is pinned, but again in short: join me in this last week of counting down to Xmas. Each weekend there was a weekly list of workouts, you choose two or add your own. Elf workouts also featured, and at least one video workout has a Christmas theme!

And here’s our 4th and last Workout Advent. Here we go!

💪 ViveHealth (15 min) 15-Minute Balance Disc Workout

You need a balancing disk for this one, as this is another prop workout! I discovered a balance disk in our shed, one my husband bought at a charity shop years ago. So I cleaned, pumped it up and am ready to see what I can do with it. Its plastic is a bit hard, not sure it’s supposed to be like this, but this 15 min workout will helpfully get me to understand the different ways this thing can be used.

💪FitOn Breanne (11 min) Full Body Stretch to Unwind

There was a phase where I did quite a few FitOn workouts. FitOn is an app, with free workouts (paid by a subscription recipe feature), and I really like the app. The videos are fresh, high quality, and searchable according to intensity, length, focus and various other criteria. This one is one of the workouts available on YouTube.

I loved the belly dancing session we featured in week 3, and this is the same instructor. Also fun, although the belly dance was hard to beat. But this one is great fun! (It didn’t result in rose petals thrown at my feet though!)

Still exercising... still Sumo squatting and still dancing... adding in loads of whizzing around and up and downing !ANT still loving my Fitness Marshall videos... they keep me giggling in the face of all sorts of curve balls... :) Thanks you. I’m still recovering from bed from a flu, so my exercise pattern has been disrupted a bit! But once recovered, I’ll be doing the balancing disk one and with/for a giggle last weeks Fitness Marshall! 😄 Thank you!

Been feeling rough the last few weeks due to a change in my HRT which hasn't helped my motivation, but feeling like I've turned a corner today 🤞🏼. Other good news regarding my poor old foot, I've been able to get dressed entirely standing up for over a week and today I noticed I can go downstairs without doing a sideways shuffle. Maybe another week or two and I'll be ok for some low impact aerobics.

Yes, hope your foot gets better. I’m also still doing less impact and no running to give me nightly metatarsal chance to completely heal. So low-impact rowing and yoga!

But can’t wait until I can get out there again!
