...So have a pic of my new dumbbells instead, they literally just arrived, I haven’t even used them yet, just added them to the ones I’ve borrowed off my DiL in the little workout corner in the living room, which also houses resistance bands and a very cheap, old school exercise bike that I bought on Facebook for £30, and that I have worked my way up to using for half an hour at a time (complete with the full length leg brace).
For anyone that is following along, by now I should actually be out of said leg brace.
However, I had to cancel my last hospital appointment as I had a filthy cold that I wasn’t going to inflict on anyone, especially not in a hospital environment. Even in a face mask.
New appointment is this Tuesday, so after a rocky start to this week, I’m now just hanging on in there and doing as much exercise as I can while, while at the same time, being careful to not to do any damage. I genuinely can’t see that they’re going to say I have to keep it on for longer, especially after taking to my physio the other day about what I currently can and can’t do. Rather tantalisingly he has given me more new exercises to do, but I am categorically not allowed to do them until the brace is off 😫
