Hi yoga fans!

Having seen the post from jayval70 yesterday, I thought I'd post about Adriene's May programme!

I've done the Feb, Mar and Apr calendars this year, so I'm good to go with May. Sounds like a very appropriate flavour 😀

I did the first video yesterday - Yoga for Transitions. Anyone else? What did you think of the sideways Crow pose? I've not come across it before 😊

Couldn’t do it roseabi ! I’ve mastered regular crow after 2.5 years, but that sideways one was a step too far. How did you get on linda9389 ?

No way Jose! Took me long enough to work out what she was doing. But it wasn't happening for me. I couldn't even do normal crow in today's session - it was fine when I was doing a bit of crow every day or two, but my arms have lost that strength having neglected to practise. I guess I know what I need to do 🙄😍

I thought it was pretty much impossible! But then I thought that about a normal Crow to start with ...

Oh no!

My shoulder still hasn't healed from last Nov/Dec and I'm sure that was yoga! Mostly bothers me if I'm planking, so easy to avoid the pain 😂

Yeah yoga is dangerous!

I had a twinge in my back after the side-crow incident, but it feels ok now 😊

Thank you for the information. I was a regular at a yoga class before lockdown. I've tried Adrienne before but might dip in while all this goes on. Might just be what I need 👍

OK, I did the 'Resolve to Evolve' meditation video yesterday, and this is how it went down:

My husband was on the phone to his mother, which involves a lot of shouting, particularly when she fails to turn off her TV. I was short of time, and waited for as long as I could but they were still at it. So I shut myself in the bedroom, and did the video with headphones, but I could still hear my husband exclaiming "four cod roe!!!" etc. all the way through.

For some reason my insides kept making these loud gurgling noises.

At about two thirds of the way through, I accidentally hit the off button instead of the volume one, and then somehow managed to start the video casting to our TV, and there was not option to stop it other than to shut down the video completely. When I started it again it went right back to the beginning, so I had to scrub through to roughly where I'd stopped.

So relaxing! 😂😂😂

😂😂😂 keep trying! I've done the first two meditation sessions - both very uneventful in comparison 👍

I am not getting off to a good start with this calendar - I may try yesterday's 'Yoga for Risk Takers' today, I like the sound of that - more carnage! 😄

You just know there'll be a crow and balancing - the title gives it all away 😂. Enjoy. Adriene has your back 😀

What was that? Adriene hurt my back? Just kidding, I take full responsibility for all my yoga-based injuries, folks!! 🤣🤣🤣
