A lovely runner's yoga 'flex' session - just 20 mins long

All credit for this link should go to TailChaser who brought it to my attention!

It's a youtube routine by a yoga instructor called Adrienne (she has lots of other videos too). The reason I like this one so much is because it's fairly straightforward for a yoga novice like myself, but it has all the stretches I want post run and it doesn't take forever. Doing this routine leaves me feeling not just stretched, but wonderfully relaxed too.

Thought I'd post the link in case anyone else might enjoy it

I loooove Adriene’s videos Linda. I’ve been doing them for a couple of years now and it’s true, she has loads of different ones to try. There are useful 7 minute pre and post run ones, plus a great Core Ritual which I do regularly. Also one for the Butt and Thighs!

Glad you enjoyed that one. 👍😀

I've done the short post run one, but definitely prefer this latest one. I like some of her pre bedtime ones too 🙂

I love Adrienne yoga. I was advised to use her a few years back by my nhs physiotherapist for her short targeted videos. I mentioned her numerous times in posts. I'll go look this one up and try it out today, thanks.

Thanks for sharing Linda. I love Yoga with Adriene and try to do a video on each of my non-running days. I always thought yoga wasn't for me as I have poor flexibility but I find her "find what feels good" approach brilliant. I also love her manner - she can be very amusing x

I love Adrienne's video's.... she was recommended to me recently by my gp (who is responsible for me doing this C25K malarky). Very accessible. I'll definitely check this routine out ... thanks for the heads up.

I have been trying a number of her videos, but hadn't seen this one.

Yesterday I did the 7 min post run video (plus my normal post-run stretches) - though I got some very strange looks from the cat!!

Am going to try the pre-run video next time and might try this one when I know I have plenty of time after a run.
