Sickness benefit

Hi all, I am finding it near impossible to do my job at the moment, i work in the plumbing and heating industry. Does anybody know what entitlements i may be entitled to? As i am classed as self employed ssp is only £67.00 per week and this is no way enough for me to survive, let alone have my central heating on.

from my experience there is nothing. I was told because Raynaud's is caused by cold that I couldn't get any help as the British weather is so unpredictable.

No kidding, not like I was being told anything I didn't already know!

I'm also self employed (a MotorSport artist) & as part of my work needs to be done outdoors & I find it next to impossible to do.

Good luck - I hope you find some kind of help.
