I occasionally suffer from this ,but as far as I am aware its nothing to do with the raynauds , I also suffer from IBS which i believe is the cause . ...would be interested to find out if anyone else with Raynauds suffers though .

Yes definitely! I have Raynauds & Scleroderma and IBS (but its not that bad). Usually happens if I have eaten something too fatty (like butter, okay with olive oil spread) or too sugary.

You need to speak to your GP.

It would be a good idea to see your GP incase you have a problem. They will not think you are silly. Speaking to our GP would put your mind at rest.

I suffer from this from time to time and I too have Raynaud's, Scleroderma and IBS - I understand that it is quite a common symptom of IBS though I do not get it as much as I used to. That might be down to the fact that, like dordle, I too am better without fatty foods such as butter and cheese. But, as Springdot7 and Jessie 122 say, you should get it checked out by your GP.

I too have Raynauds and Scleroderma, and along with you, I suffer from this symptom - it isn't too bad and it occurs mostly when I eat dairy products and fatty foods, some sugary foods; oh and salad dressings causes it too. I try to shy away from these foods when I'm out in public especially. This symptom will flair up at the most inconvenient times. And then I just endure sometimes and locate the nearest rest-room for relief.

I also suffer from this time to time. I use to have it a lot before I stopped eating gluten. I would double check with a gastro doctor just so you can have peace of mind.

You mention that you have Raynaud's. The leakage would be unusual in Primary Raynaud's. However, there are other reasons for this problem. Have you had an ANA (anti nuclear antibody) blood test? The reason I ask is because this is a very common problem in people with scleroderma. If you would like to speak to someone about this 'delicate' problem call 01270872776.

Hiya sorry about delay in replying as I've been busy with work and x-mas, went to the gp and bit embarrassing turns out have constipation and a touch of Ibs, given fybobgel and given meverbine for stomach pains. Had a follow up appointment today continuing with the above meds. The mucous discharge had it checked at a couple of years ago said by gynaecologist would have to put up with for five years. Also told today mucous discharge might be related to constipation. Thank you for answers and support

Wish you all the best for the new year and take care.
