Does anyone get the occasional tingli... - Scleroderma & Ray...
Does anyone get the occasional tingling in hand/arms and feet/legs? I am also peri-menopausal?
Hi
Yes I get tingling but also get what feels like electric shocks too, at it's worst it feels like putting your hand on the electric fence when the battery is fully charged and at it's weakest when the battery is about to die. Sorry don't know how else to explain the feeling as I have thrown and dropped things due to the severity and surprise of it. Going for EMG (I think thats what they are) tests in a couple of weeks. I have secondary raynauds with abnormal capilliary loops also Vasculitis. MCTD, pituitary problems (I could carry on but would be here for a while) I take MMF Pred and others.
thanks for taking the time to answer its just these constant tingling make me scared spitless as I start to imagine what if this thing gets to my heart.
hi i get tinglings and cramps in my feet and legs too , its worse in the winter months and during the night .
I think we all get these symptoms don't we? There's not a lot you can do, Herbalists will be able to suggest things to help with circulation.(Better than pumping yourself full of drugs)
Oh yes I think we all do get these. My doc tried neurontin and ot did help with the sensation in my feet. I have scleroderma and raynauds phenomenon. I frequently get arterial ulcers. Have one on toe and two on fingers. I had taken viagra in past with no change in symptoms and my other doc started me on Pletal and then added plavix and one aspirin a day. This has helped a little with decreasing the amount of arterial ulcers. I feel everyone responds differently to medications. I wish you luck!
Hi, I have primary Raynauds, I also get tingling throughout my arms, hands and feet. It also causes many sleepless nights, it is the feeling of electric shocks. Prescribed drugs are causing too many side effects for me at the moment. So you are not alone in this symptom. Raynauds can be quite debilitating at times and finding ways of managing it proves challenging. I must say I am not looking forward to Winter.
I hear you on that. I get grumpy every winter.
