Has anyone got both epilepsy and scleroderma?

I have just been diagnosed with epilepsy and feel like this disease has took over my whole life now.

I too was diagnosed with epilepsy 6 yrs ago and then scleroderma 3 yrs ago. I don't know if they are connected. I am not on any medication now and only took 2 sezures and none since. Try to remain positive as i know how awful it was for me whenever i got the diagnosis. I found it hard to accept and was very down for a while. I had to give up my car for a year which was terrible but got very fit with all the walking. I picked myself up and moved forward, as there is good support out there, but it took time. Get in contact with an epilepsy nurse and also the epilepsy society are very good. Go to the website. They will send you out info and also you can chat to others which helps. It will take you time and try and remain strong. best wishes nuala
