Does anyone else get pins and needles... - Scleroderma & Ray...
Does anyone else get pins and needles worse in one hand more than the other with Raynaud's?
Hi Bookworm, Yes I get pins and needles a lot in my left hand - had test for carpel tunnel syndrome, twice, but were negative - because I get it worse when I am resting or in bed I now have to wear a hand splint which keeps the wrist from bending. But then, I find that my left hand and arm is much weaker than my right !
This is something I have noticed just recently actually. I find that I wake up with pins and needles in one hand or both quite a lot. I have also noticed that I get pins and needles in my right hand and the numb sensation you start to get before an attack when I am holding my tweezers and plucking my eyebrows. Perhaps I should head off to a beach in Barbados and pluck my eyebrows there - purely for research purposes!!
yes, absolutely. I'm not sure if there is a medical explanation, but generally one side of my body is weaker than the other. It doesn't take much for me to get pins and needles, it seems to happen every day/night now. I forget about the pins and needles when I'm explaining symptoms to consultant!
