he guys so I had my second infusion today as was supposed to have last week but postponed due to a horrible cold I manged to pick up from my grandchildren. It went very well and although I'm now in bed I felt reasonably well afterwards, I start my 5 day iloppast infusions on the 25th November and theyvaound like a blast!! 3 attempts to get a cannula in today so will definitely be discussing other ways to avoid this as my veins say no!! Hope you are all well and I will update you all further when the other treatment begins am a little worried of headaches nausea and plummeting blood pressure xxxx

Glad things went okay! Horrid when your veins don’t want to know isn’t it. Fingers crossed for your next set of treatments, you are being so brave and it’s good to know how you are doing. Stay strong.

I had my monthly iloprost infusion yesterday. Yes, I get a bad headache, but I take paracetamol and hour before I start and some more four hours later. I try to sleep. I only go to 2.5ml/HR or the pain is unbearable. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 goes to do the canula, but yesterday it was only 2 goes! Good luck and you'll get through it!
