Hi, I was diagnosed with SSC last year - typical symptoms. Recently my scaclp has been driving me mad with an ever increasing itchy patch. Can anyone recommend a soothing shampoo?

my Daughter tried this in my scalp today and it was amazing cooling my scalp down. Worth a try. I’ve had an itchy burning scalp for years because of SSc. Photo below

I was prescribed Capasal therapeutic shampoo (also available to buy) for scalp psoriasis. It's coconut based and very calming/soothing. You only need a little so a bottle lasts a while

Hi. I have found that I’m very sensible to the additives in shampoos ( parabens, silicones and sulphites) I now buy Sukin shampoo and conditioner which is free of nasties, from …mypure.co.uk not expensive either. Might help. X PS I did used to buy A’kin from Holland and Barrett but it is expensive. Sukin is less than 1/3 of the price!
