Raynaud’s and skin peeling

Hello friends,

I had a sudden onset of Raynaud’s, finger tip and toe swelling, as well as the bottom of my feet swelling. I also had a sudden onset of hyperhydrosis . This all happened less than 2 years ago at the same time. I’ve been to a rheumatologist several times and several dermatologists. Is this all unrelated? At first they thought Scleroderma but now wait and see.

Hi, where was the skin peeling? Then previous two winters I had purple/blue coloured toes unless I elevated my legs. The skin then went red/sore and peeled badly, the second year worse than the first. In think at one point last year my toes were swollen too for a few weeks.

I also have raynauds in my fingers, but separately in have swollen fingers and tendon issues sporadically all year around, which they think is Scleroderma/ SSc.

I started Nifedipine for Raynauds in August 2022, toes have been much warmer and touch wood my toes are the right colour and no skin problems or swelling so far this winter. For a year or so my Rheumatologist dismissed Raynauds because I didn't show the classic signs (blue, white then red) but then I took him a photo of the random white areas of my fingers when cold , and he said , Oh yes that's definately Raynauds! So you have to be a bit pushy and collate evidence!

I hope you get some answers soon
