l think my husband will need one too. Yesterday he 'advised' me to spend 20 minutes a day with my legs up against the wall. "Apparently it is good for Raynaurd's" he said enthusiastically. 😒

Yes those around us who may or may not know about our condition try and give helpful advice on what they find, with well intentions. But unfortunately this condition is very complicated and not everyone who has it get the same issues, there are so many problems that can arise if not initially but later.

It can be so hard for others to understand that one autoimmune (some of us have more than one) can cause such life changing issues and one that reminds us everyday in some form or another. It’s so complicated that even the medical and allied health field are stumped as to the answers to help us.

I usually thank those who try to help in some way but sometimes let them know that any relief is short lived and hope they understand it’s not by choice I sound ungrateful or pessimistic. (I can’t help it if my body hates me 🥺)

I hope your employer has an open mind and is understanding
