Nailfold abnormalities and haemorrhages

Anything apart from scleroderma that causes naifold changes and cuticle haemorrhages? I have both but negative ANA, and SSC is the only answer from Dr. Google. Any help or input welcome.

Hi mistermeaner,

Unfortunately, I cannot give you an answer to your question. However, I was in a similar position like you a couple of years ago.

I had Raynaud's and nailfold changes and cuticle haemorrhages for about 8 years (they always told me to come back next year to see if in how far my condition changes). After a long time they told me that they found SSC antibodies and officially diagnosed me with scleroderma.

I don't know any other diseases / reasons why the nailfold may change. Could imagine that there are other vascular diseases which might cause this...maybe you speak to your doctor and ask him if he knows any possible causes other than Skleroderma?

It always makes sense to ask a specialist.
