Skin darkening query

Hello, I have CREST syndrome, and recently some of the skin around my groin and at the top of my thighs has darkened, slightly. I look like I have a mild suntan there. Has any one else noticed this? My GP has just done a raft of blood tests to check whether it could be caused by hormones or anything sinister, but meanwhile I wanted to see if anyone else with scleroderma has noticed this. My rheumatology department isn't taking calls apart from emergencies because of the pandemic. Thanks.

I think that this can be fairly normal for some people with scleroderma but it is also a symptom of polymyositis so it’s worth having a repeat of ANA and ENA blood tests.

Thanks so much for your reply. My GP did all my usual rheumatology blood tests, so hopefully I should hear back soon. Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.
