I have been suffering very badly with gastro problems . Lady night I was up for long lengths of time being sick and the burning sensation today is horrendous and making it uncomfortable to eat. I wake up because I can feel it travelling up and I've found previously to be sick has helped , but not this time . I'm on Omeprazole but it just doesnt seem to be touching base . What are good cures for this awful burning .
I have also been given the chance to start taking Methotrexate my dermo consultant said it will help my dermatitis and it is also known to help Schleroderma. I dont fancy the side effects tbh but I would like to know if anyone else takes this and what and how do they help Schleroderma.

I tried numerous ppi medication and found Esomeprozole to be the most effective. I take this with renitidine twice daily and also have metoclopramide which stops the regurgitation at night. There are lots of meds out there for this and it is more a case of finding what works best for you as everyone is different and it is rare to find a 100 % cure.
I have mega gastro issues but my bed head is raised by about 5 inches and i sleep on my side, my body or brain is used to this and very rarely do I move onto my back when I am asleep. I try not to eat after 7 in the evening and I now know through trial and error the foods which aggravate my digestive system. I tend to stick to easily digested stuff which unfortunately tend to ere on the carbohydrate side. This is how I manage my GERD but we are all so different, what works for me won't suit others. Best of luck and good wishes to you. ❤️😊
I know what this is going to sound like but bear with me.
Do you have a juicer. If you do juice a cabbage and drink the juice. It does wonders for healing stomach upsets. Most probably you won't be able to drink cabbage juice alone so juice an apple or some ginger or something else that will help you to get the cabbage juice down.
Drinking cabbage juice is like seeding your gut with good probiotics
