I work although I’m currently consulting whilst I find a new job as when I left my last job of 6 years for a new one, the new one didn’t deliver the flexible working adjustments promised. The Line Manager didnt understand my legal rights and later their globally HR director called and apologised but that’s not a lot of good to me. I work full time in legal inhouse (in a company rather than a law firm) and need flexible working (ie ability to work from home when the disease dictates). Flexible hours would be useful too although I’ve never used those before. Looking for a new job is very hard but after the last debacle, I am very firm about what I need!

I have scleroderma and I work as a maths teacher in a special school, and ive had to cut my hours to 4 days. Obvously this is not a job i can do from home! (although i was asked this by the occupational heaalth i was sent to) Im thinking i need to cut them again, as i never feel well when im at work. I'm sure stress makes it worse
