I had some bloods back from the doctors and it said CTD screen 0.9. I was wondering if anyone knows what this means?
My only symptoms is a indent line down my forehead I’ve had for over 10 years and I have chilblains in certain toes in the winter. My doc is checking me for scleroderma.
Thanks

Hi there, usually a CTD screen is an ANA test - antinuclear antibody test. And 0.9 is a negative result. Usually to test for scleroderma the ANA test is looking for a positive of ACA (anti-centromere) or Scl-70 for a diagnosis of scleroderma.
The symptoms you describe sound indicative of Raynauds, but not scleroderma. Obviously, your GP is the one who knows you and your range of symptoms, but should he be in any doubt the best option is to go and see a Rheumatologist who is used to seeing and treating this condition.
