Hi everyone. I woke up this morning and my hands were swollen as usual but now my feet are severely swollen and so are my lips. I always thought my feet were swelling due to diabetes. This was before I was diagnosed with limited scleroderma. And My face is continuously tightening up. I haven't had any test but ana. I read your post and it seems alot of you have had so many test. I was misdiagnosed for 5 years for diabetes. Now I feel like I'm not getting enough done. Please keep me in prayer.

I am praying for you
Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your problems and I pray that your health team quickly spot the source of your particular problem.
Has anybody talked to you about the possibility of an allergic reaction or eczema? The reason I ask is because of the swollen lips and tight skin - my eczema definitely results in very tight skin overnight and sometimes sore lips. Also. if I get a bad allergic reaction, eg somebody "kindly" buys me a bunch of flowers (with pretty lilies in - ha-ha-choo) then again I find my skin will tighten and my lips start to get sore and then swell. May I suggest you try and get an appointment with your GP first thing in the morning so that they can hopefully see the symptoms at the worse? Our GP receptionists respond well to "cries for help", and also, at our GPs, you can turn up at 08:30, rather than phoning them "for ages" - that way you usually get an earlier appointment. Alternatively, you could arrange to go to your pharmacist first thing - I've often found that getting someone to see you at your worse is the quickest way to get pointed in the right direction plus you have their expertise to back you up when you need it
I hope you get help very very soon, xx
