ADD maybe?

Hi, i have a question as to if anyone else has this happen to them. I'll be sitting in bed and suddenly feel as if there is electricity shooting through my veins and i absolutely have to stand as if i have too much energy not used. i suddenly get very hyper and my body itches/has ripple waves inside and i have to rub/move around for it to be contained. could this be ADD? ive never been diagnosed with it or ADHD.

hello Chan56, I am not medically trained, but can I ask are you on any medication? It may be that you are anxious about something, I sometimes experience the same symptoms but in my case it"s because I live with depression, I am not saying for one moment that this is what is causing your symptoms, but perhaps a visit to your gp may be a sensible path to take. I dont take any medication. I had just started birth control and it hasnt happened since, but its been going on for as long as i could remember

I doubt that’s adhd, do you have a burning sensation when that happens to you?

I dont have a burning sensation, it feels like there are ants crawling through my veins if thats a good explanation? its hard to explain. it doesnt hurt, it just feels as though i have like ripples of water going through my veins and i get random bursts of energy

I've never experienced it. I do remember reading , I think it was on a forum online (Inspire.com), of others with Scleroderma describing the same electricity feeling with burst of energy sensation.

Id consider that, but i dont have any of the other symptoms of Scleroderma
