Have had Ltd scleroderma for 7 yrs.Have Raynaud's above all when passing from warm environment to cold one and if outside temp. dips below 10°C. Have 4 or 5 digital ulcers similar to very small razor blade cuts each winter.Am on adalat 30 in winter and 20 rest of year.

I am on 60 mgms daily all year and sildenafil. No ulcers.

As far as sildenafil is concerned I have no comment to make.60 mgms of adalat seems like a fair

Hi I am on 20 a day all year round and have never has ulcers.

How long have you had Raynaud?I've had it for 7 yrs.The ulcers cropped up after 3 yrs.Adalat helps because it limits the pain to about a week or so.

Hi, I have been on adalat for 5 years too and never had a problem, helps sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

Hi elprof7557 and anyone suffering from digital ulcers.

I feel your pain nearly lost top of one finger in November.

Ask your Drs about GTN patches. They are used to treat angina. They open the arteries and they have healed my ulcers quite quickly. Nothing else worked.

Had to come off sildenafil whilst using them due to risk of low blood pressure.

I am so happy hope this helps others.

Thus far my doctor has only prescribed adalat given that my ulcers are small and that the pain is limited to a short period of time but I'll ask him about gtn.Thanks.
