Hi rosieandsid, my marriage suddenly ended in 2011, and shortly after I was diagnosed with Systemic sclerosis and Raynauds. Are you taking any medication for the Raynauds? and have you been referred to a rheumatologist?
Hello. Yes i was diagnosed by a rhemy and given nifedapine which helped but made me feel very unwell mentally and not been on anything ever since. Sudden shocks appear to have Kickstarted our illness!
I was diagnosed with reynauds after my surgery my hands and feet are affected I use compression socks and gloves seems to help me and stay as warm as possible. I also have scleroderma it’s more severe and also no cure.
Hi there! I have just found your post and realise it is six months old, but just in case you are not sorted out yet with your sudden onset of Rayaud's, I just wanted to assure you that stress is definitely a HUGE trigger for the disease. It has happened to me on several occasions and mine always becomes ulcerated. I have had a rough two years, with one shock after another, each causing a serious flare.
It's a horrible thing to live with and I do hope you are feeling better now
Thank you all! I have been using rosehip oil on my awful shedding toes and lots better...currently being investigated for shograns too as my mouth is agony and my gums are disappearing. I think i nedd to go back to rheumy as my toes are giving me jip with the weather already! Have a good day!
