Calcium channel blockers?

I'm off to see my GP on Wednesday about my mild hypertension. I suspect he will want me to take some sort of drug.

I was hoping I'd be given something that might help my mild Raynaud.

Has anybody tried nifedipine or similar drugs for Raynauds, or can recommend something else.

Hi, I too have what I would consider 'mild' raynauds - only a couple of fingers on both hands although they've recently started to be set off by handling items in the fridge. But I've just started on Nifedipine and so far so good. The fridge doesn't seem to set me off at the moment but that could change as the weather drops cooler again. I still intend to take precautions though as I really don't want it to get any worse.
