I feel for you, hang on in there, good on you for using crafts for keeping your mind on other things. Very thereaputic.

You would be a very strange person if you were not anxious about this pending scan and biopsy. I was in a similar position a couple of years ago. I just told myself it was normal to be anxious, acknowledged what I was feeling, and then brought my attention back to what I was doing and all the other things that were going on. I knit, and that helped, but I also focused on all the other things in my life. I talked to the people around me about the situation to gain support, and I also wrote down my really anxious thoughts and that helped to get them out of my head and make them feel less scary...as well as being able to challenge them (they are always worse case scenarios), and make a plan if the worst came to the worst, which helped me to know that I would cope whatever the outcome. I also had a few good cries to let off steam and did some fun things to distract me.

Good luck

Have you tried mindfulness meditation, I use a great app called Calm. I have found that it helps me distress very well. Hugs 🤗
