Magnesium oil

My calf muscles were cramping terribly so I tried Magnesium oil. It really helped and my skin that was very hard started to flake/peel away and the skin became very soft but shiny. It is still soft and shiny but I'm wondering if it is tighter than before. Has anyone had any experience in this? ( I don't see my rheumatologist for a couple of months ) Thanks!

Hello, sorry to hear you are suffering badly, I too use bio-oil smother it all over my face, 3 or 4 times a week before bed, also use baby oil in my bath & have added baby oil to my body moisturiser, I have very tight skin on my calves due to systemic scleroderma. Hope this helps. X

Thank you! Do you think that the tight skin on your calves makes them more prone to pain and cramping? I feel like I have elastic socks around my calves. I was concerned that the magnesium oil might be making my skin tighter but I don't know if that really makes sense.
