Hi, haven't posted in a really long time, but I have a question. I keep suffering from severe anaemia and they have run tests and nothing comes back. It started going back up for a bit but has now bottomed out again. So back to getting same tests. Does anyone else have this as a result of their Scleroderma? If so what have your Dr suggested for you?

could it be caused by some of your medication?

Not sure, hopefully I can get back into my Rheumatologist soon so can find out. So tired all the time and out of breath because of it.

Thanks Cobr1 and zenabb, I will let my Dr know that others have had it. Hopefully I won't have to have some of the horrible tests with it. Don't want another colonoscopy unless I will die without it being done. lol

Hi

I have primary raynauds (1st known attack age 4), and have been anaemic on and off since I had an operation at 16.  I have probable IBS (aged around 20) and B12 deficiency (around 28).  I now have blood tests a couple times a year, and take iron intermittently due to low ferritin.  Heavy periods are being blamed.  I dont have scleroderma. Hope you get treatment even if no causal diagnosis.
