Scleroderma and Bronchiectasis

I have scleroderma with crest and lung involvement. I was diagnosed in1998. I have recently been told I have bronchiectasis as well. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem and has any advice.

I have the same as you except for the bronchiactesis. My involvement is with my digestive system. We are all different. I hope you are improving. Best wishes.

Just seen this posting of yours...have same as you with COPD and lung fibrosis too...systemic sclerosis is being treated just now with cyclosulphamide in hospital through my rheumatology consultant for the next 6 months..have had three treatments up to now but not really having much improvement to breathing. Am exhausted generally so doing housework is a mountain to climb- takes me ages to do anything and I have to rest every couple of minutes. I was throwing up a lot after coughing fits but the cough isn't as bad just now, thank goodness. Have had two bouts of pneumonia and doc sent me for pneumonia injection so hoping this will stop me getting this illness again. I wish you well, and hope you get good treatment.
