I used to get that when I was younger and baked in the sun. My knuckles were inflammed and huge/red bumps and I'd itch from head to toe. Not sure if that helps...

I am assuming that you have Raynaud's. Talk to your doctor and ask if you can have an ANA (antinuclear antibody) blood test. That may reveal the cause.

When you see your GP ask him to double check your blood pressure. A blood test would also be a good idea. Take care.
