I believe it's another term for localised scleroderma, according to what I've read? I have systemic scleroderma so am more familier with this. Click onto google and it comes up as Morphea Scleroderma.

I have a niece whose dr. says he thinks she has morphea scleroderma. She has a large growth on the top of her foot and it has colors on it; very strange-looking. He did biopsy it too, but no results yet. From what I've read, it can go away on its own and does not appear to affect internal organs. I am not a doctor, however, so best you ask a doctor. Let me know what you find out. Thanks and good luck.

my daughter had a rash that was itching and she finally went to dermatologist They did biopsy and it is morphia which is in the scleroderma family. It could progress but not sure if it will. She is not on any treatment at this time. Sometimes they put them on predisone which has side affects. She uses moisturizers to apply to the rash and so far is doing OK. Thanks for response. We are all in this together/
