obstructive sleep apnea

I have had obstructive sleep apnea since I was born, this was 84 years ago. I went onto a CAPP machine in 1997. But lately I seem to be able to sleep without it, I know this because I am apt to fall asleep while reading. My question is, is it possible for the Apnea to clear itself, after all this time. ?

I think it is yes but you can fall asleep with apnea and still have it 🤷 only way to know for me is a smart watch that measures O2 and wakening without cpap. I didn't get on well with my apap but my apnea episodes not as bad as some.
