Hi all, I suffer from sjorgen's, a few months back I found a lump in the front on my mouth. I had it checked and it is a cyst which has decreased in size but still there. While waiting for the results I found another lump which is more on the jaw line. Had a ultra sound, needle test and MRI. The consultants have said it may not be a tumour but need to remove to have a full check if it. I have a date for surgery but am worried as the operation they want to do was described as a face lift, this is due to the lump sitting on a main gland and they have to be careful not to cut the nerves.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I had a bump on the front right of my tongue once (around Dec 2019) and a sore on my upper left roof of my mouth. I was presently going to the ENT for left ear pain but there was no infection and a 5 day steroid pack did nothing for the ear pain. The ENT eventually prescribed Valtrex and in one pill, the ear pain went away and the bump and sore in my mouth disappeared too. I had the bump on the tongue examined by an oral surgeon and he wasn’t concerned it was cancer and was fairly sure it would go away. I do not have any history of herpes and have never taken Valtrex. Maybe your bumps are viral too? Best wishes!
Hiya, great news...the lump disappeared. I couldn't feel the lump and had a pre-op already booked with hosp. So they did a check and nothing there. They couldn't tell me what it was but are going to do another scan in a few months. So pleased. 😊
