Early Onset

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's anyone here who was an early onsetter and can tell me how they're doing?

I got diagnosed at 32 with severe sjogrens and it was suspected I'd had it for some time.

I'm just wondering what might await me having had this from quite a young age.

I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It’s gotta be tough being younger wit it. Unfortunately I’m not diagnosed with it. I have appointment to see a rheumy. So hopefully someone here can help you. Best of luck to you!

Hi. Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation of USA has a support group for people who are diagnosed young. Please may I encourage you to remember each case is unique or it’s possible to hear severe cases and become fearful. They are also now working with Mayo Clinic (world class medical care) to research childhood Sjogren’s and had first patient conference on this topic last year. Se various articles:
