This is the best forum but I would suggest you also join Sjogren’s.org - they have helped me so much. You can also be put in touch with a support group in your area. You will not feel so alone and you will pick up great tips to ease your discomfort. Good luck.

That's the best thing to do and how you take control. One of the frustrating things is that it seems to be something different for each person. I rely on a lot of alternative remedies to address symptoms since there are so few actual medications. Keep your environment well humidified, eat a low inflammatory diet, get sleep and exercise as much as you can even if only walking. Happy New Year, Welcome and best wishes!

Hi kalona46,

If only it was just dry mouth n eyes 😄 I have sjogrens as well as lupus and never know which one is causing the problem. I have learnt that sjogrens is the one that causes my many UTIs. There are quite a few on this site that has various overlapping conditions and are very helpful with any help you need. I’ve also been in touch with the british Sjgrens society. Bit expensive to join, but do have their own forum where members can chat.

Hi Di01, I know people do take antidepressants because of their depression who also suffer with lupus & sjogrens. It is with consultation of their GP so that they get the correct medication and dosage.

I have not known it to cause a problem to lupus or Sjgrens.
