Hello everyone, I have been diagnosed with Sjogrens and this morning I have woken up with two bumps on the inside of my lips in the middle, top and bottom. After a quick google they look like mucosal cysts???? is this normal for Sjogrens? has anyone else had them?

Mucosal cyst???
Don’t try to diagnose yourself - see a doctor if they bother you. Nothing is normal with Sjogren’s - I have learned over the years the lumps and bumps you get can be a flare and topical treatment eases the discomfort. Stay away from Dr Google - stay calm, none of this will kill you. It can turn you into a worrier and honestly, there is no need- the illness is bad enough. There are remedies at MouthUlcers.co.uk or call them they are very knowledgeable. Speak to your dentist too they will recommend the best toothpaste- good luck.
I get the bumps. So does my sister who doesn't have SS. There is a point in their progression where they are open and painful but they go away. Doctors haven't been concerned with mine but do try to have them checked while they are active. I am pretty sure they are related to what I eat. Try to keep track and then avoid those foods. I do cheat though as I need to have a taco once in awhile. Natrum Phos, a homeopathic treatment, seems to help them go away. Its just sodium phosphate, inexpensive and has no side effects that I'm aware of. My Dad used to gargle with salt water. ???
