Breast cancer

Following my last post about surgery and Mycophenolate I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I still don't know whether I can continue taking the Mycophenolate as I am in between Rheumatologists. Any how I've told the surgeon and the nurses so I expect they will sort it.

So over to the Breast cancer forum and Sjogrens will have to take a back seat.

Good luck to you all .

Aww thanks for thinking of me BB - yes the past few weeks have now rendered me a numb blob! I actually think I’m going to be taking a sabbatical from posting on HU for a while in effort to reach some kind of mental equilibrium. It’s not breast cancer thankfully, and it’s not even what most know as Sjögren’s. But somehow my variant form of this disease has pulled the rug from under my feet.

You take care please. Xx

Good luck to you, hoping it is not aggressive and you have good doctors to help you. I have appreciated your contributions to the forums do let us know how you get on.... I am from a family of BC suffers so juggling this & autoimmune is beyond my understanding.... Be well. ML

You are not officially an old biddy until you are in treble figures 😀

My breast surgeon told me he had done a mastectomy on a woman of 102...and she is still going strong

I bet she didn’t like being called an old biddy , more of a strong independent woman 😀😀 . Keep strong, best wishes x
