new "spots"

After being in remission for 7 months, scan showed two TINY "spots". One on the urinary bladder, one on the sigmoid colon. Doc said they are very small, too small to do anything about, they are non-specific. I will have another scan soon, to see what they are like now. Been 3months since last scan)Been on Zejula since that last scan, hoping that med keeps them at bay. I suppose those two "spots" are probably going to be my cancer returning. I can only hope they were shadows on scan and its nothing. Wishful thinking, no doubt. Has anyone had a recurrence in those areas and what was done about it? Thanks.

I have not as yet recurred, but I know the weight of scanxiety and not knowing. I did have a breast MRI that showed a shadowy area last year -- totally freaked me out (breast cancer on top of Ovarian???), but it thankfully turned out to be nothing to worry about. So it does happen. Praying for good news for you, friend.
