Hi 9667
I recently started Lynparza. It's been just over 30 days. I have not had any reactions or serious side effects. I was afraid to start it after reading all the information I got from my Oncologist. So many side effects.
I read several stories from women on this site. It made me realize the risk was worth it. If my body can handle Lynparza it can add years to my life.
I feel blessed that my insurance company covers the cost, its very expensive.
So far so good. I saw my Onc yesterday and she is pleased. my bloodwork looks very good.
I hope this helps. ask questions if you wish. Any time. we are here. stay strong and keep looking forward.

I have been on Lynparza for 7 months. My blood work has been good so far. I did have to have the dosage reduced from 300 mg twice a day to 200 mg twice a day. This was done in the first month and I have been fine since then. I little joint pain and fatigue but nothing that keeps me from my daily activities. I'm BRCA 1 + and I'm hoping it works as well as they say.
I was on it for ten months at 200 dosage. Plus Avastin and felt well. It stopped working for me so I'm now on Avastin and Gemzar
I have been on Lynparza for over a year. I am doing well on it. I believe that it is a miracle drug. My CA 125 is holding steady. I do experience fatigue BUT I don't let it stop me from living a full life. If I may help in any way, please email me back.

Lynparza stopped working for me after 7 months. I then went to 6 rounds of chemo with carboplatin, taxol and avastin. Now I'm on Zejula. So far so good after 3 months.
