My doctor has been monitoring my CA levels for about 6-8 months now as they have been elevated. Back in March I had a laparoscopic surgery to remove severe endometrial adhesion's. The doctor at that point said we should start to see the levels going down in the weeks and months post surgery. I went earlier this week and found my levels had gone from 51 to 189. My ultrasound also showed a growth on my left ovary. Because of the rise in levels they scheduled me for an appointment with a gyn oncologist on Tuesday. They didn't mention what I should expect at this visit so I was hoping someone here might be able to give some more insight to what they will do and any questions I should be asking. Any advice is appreciated

Hi,
I can imagine that you are worried about your next Dr. visit! Just know, that it is your body and your health and you can ask anything that’s on your mind! See what options are given and take your time to think them over!
Wishing you lots of strength and healing!
Thank you so much, it's certainly easy to forget that and let them push you around or rush you out. I had a scan today in prep for Tuesday, now just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. It will be a long 4 days for sure!
They may order a CT scan with contrast of your abdomen to get a better picture of what's going on. Good they are taking action though.
Thanks, they did that today along with another ultrasound and X-ray in prep for my appt Tuesday. Wish I knew the results 😏
