Zujula

I have been taking Zujula several months now and have experienced hair loss. The hair on the crown of my head is extremely thin and refuses to grow. I have been tolerating the drug fairly well, except for the occasional nausea which is one of the side effects. I'm interested to know those taking Zujula some side effects or issues while taking this drug.

STAY STRONG!!

Hi Quincy62, I have been on Zejula since May2018. I have no nausea, just a dry mouth. My hair after my last chemo in April 2018 has not been the same. It is thin in spots, mostly in crown, but it is growing. I don't know if it is caused by Zejula, maybe, but I have been taking a supplement to help hair grow and get volume. I think it has helped some, not falling out as much. My dosage for Zejula is 300mg a day. Stage 3c ovarian cancer since 2013.

Hope this helps, stay strong. Any questions I will be happy to answer.

Thanks Caroline, yes this did help. I am on 100mg a day, body couldn't tolerate 300mg too many side effects. I have been on Zujula since Sept. 2017. I have begun to notice white spots on the sides of my tongue along with sensitivity to anything spicy. You stated you had problems with dry mouth have you experienced any of this with your mouth or tongue. I am curious to know if this is another side effect.

Hi, I can't tolerate anything spicy either, but I really never could, lol. Haven't noticed any white spots. How has your CA125 been? Last bloodwork of mine was at 9.

Hope this stuff works, sounds like you are doing well on it.

Keep the faith.

Just had bloodwork and CA125 has been holding at 7. It sounds like the Zujula is working for us so far. Woo-hoo!

Hello. My doctor wants to put me on zejula. In January of this year I had a metastatic recurrence of my ovarian cancer. I had been in NED for two years and three months. I had some strange symptoms and a ct scan revealed a lesion on my cerebellum. They removed it surgically and I had ten sessions of radiation. Did any of you get financial help with zejula or other parp inhibitor? It’s so terribly expensive. Sounds like some good feedback and also some nausea type side effects, etc. Looking for overall feelings on zejula, etc. Thanks.

My doctor wants to put me on zejula too. Let me know if you hear information on this med. Has your nausea been bad?
