Yes, I had debulking surgery in November, 2012 and six cycles of IV/IP chemo (cisplatin and taxol). I was diagnosed at stage 3C, high grade serous. Fortunately, no recurrences. I know several other women who have survived for much longer periods and have had no recurrences. Some others I know may have had one recurrence and then no further recurrences. Everyone is different. Hopefully, you, too, will survive without a recurrence!

I am one of those with only one recurrence with my last chemo in Nov 2008. I do know of women who have never recurred though. As stated by DSK we are all different and at least for now, no one can predict how any one of us will respond or not respond to a particular treatment. Best wishes

Are you asking without Chemo too? From what my doctor explained to me is that this cancer can often times be microscopic and or they can not remove all that might be under 2 cm so the chemo is the best approach for removing any remaining hidden cancer.

I did not want to do Chemo, and asked what other options there were, I was given two options - prayers and prayers and chemo. Many women are blessed with no occurrences and others not. Unfortunately Time is the only thing that will tell if all of it was successful.

Wishing you the best of luck.

I was cancer free for 25 years before a reccurance of my cancer. I was able to live a normal life and enjoy raising my children. Remission is possible . What I learned is with breast and ovarian cancer they never consider it cured, even after 25 years! Keep up with your tests and appointments and go out there and live!
