has anyone experienced nerve pain from this shot? I was fine till I had a different nurse give it 2 mo ago?

Hi Praising I have experienced the difference in what nurse gives me my shots. The one nurse gives them and no problems not even sore. The other gives them and I have sore lumps for days. Another one gave me them and i had a burning feeling just on the left side. I guess its like a nurse who takes a blood draw some are real good and you barely feel it and others its like woa that hurts. My main concern is to not have them hit the sciatica. Maybe you should mention the nerve pain to your oncologist because it might be the nurse came close to your sciatica . If she did then she needs to be retrained in how to give them before she hurts you or someone else.

Good on you Justme153. I agree with all that. We bloody put our lives in their hands and so help me, you’re in trouble if you get one on a day were they’ve had a bad night the night before.

I was lucky enough now to have had any huge damage from these injections over the 15 months that I had them. But geeeeez. Some of those nurses were harsh. Wouldn’t listen to my clear directions about what worked best for me. some of them knew best. But they didn’t. And some were really lovely and cared about what I told them. I”m so glad I don’t have them any more.
