Powerful!

Together, we are a force to be reckoned with.

We all have come to know that knowledge is power. Conversely, back in the dark ages, when I was young, I was taught to hide my intelligence, especially from the opposite sex. This kept those of us that were following those rules, out of many truthful discussions where we could have contributed and learned from. Nowadays, we women have found our power and are using this combined power so very well, informing and empowering each other on this precious chatroom.

Well done, all of us!

Greetings :Sister/Warrior😇: Like you there were many girls/ women in my life that were pushed to look attractive, and marry a man who was financially secure. The good thing is my dad, and mom were great proponents of pushing us to acquire the highest degree of education possible that they could afford🙂. My dad pushed vocational high School classes. I was one of a couple of girls who asked to take wood making, electrical, and plumbing classes. My mom, and Dad had to sign a permission slip. I love my parents😇😇 for raising me, and my siblings to be first, and foremost good honest people who can be independent, financially secure people who would have a strong work ethic. To this day I can put my own furniture together , patch wall holes, sand, and paint my walls. I installed dimmers, and light fixtures in my place.💪👍 I have males in my life who have, and can help me. but watching my friend unclog my toilet with an Auger/ Snake only empowered me to purchase my own $15 Auger, and unplug my toilet myself 2 months ago💪🙂. My male friends said you know I would do it for you. They were so encouraging when I did tell them the things I fixed myself, by saying that popular phrase " You go girl". . Yessss I do get advice from male friends, and YouTube when I have to tackle something new. The next projects to fix is my washing machine, which I have to put in a new water pump. and my sewing machine which I have to put in a new a rubber gasket that broke . We are stronger, and more capable than we think Thank GOD. Amen🙏😇👍😇💪

I'll repeat it because it bears repeating. "You go, girl! I used to do alll kinds of things that my friends would not think of doing but cancer has got the best of me, these days. I feel lucky when I am vertical Now, all I can do is admire you and those like you, and like me back in the days---.
