Abraxane: Hair loss! Need a new pic! πŸ˜ƒ

Now that I am a baldie, πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦²I choose to embrace the new look.πŸ‘€ I will admit it was jarring when I looked up from the floor full of hair and the buzz of the clippers. I didn’t freak πŸ€ͺout but I just looked at myself in the mirror. Glad I have a round head with appropriate size πŸ‘‚s! lol! My son says mom it is just hair- - not a bad look. So when our kids say something positive we have to take it. I will take a new pic as soon as I wrap my head (tee hee hee) around my new look. Maybe a wig???? πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ€πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ€πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ€πŸ‘±πŸ½β€β™€οΈNah! I think I will do me and walk proudly and strong. πŸ’ͺ🏽

You rock it, girl. Long before cancer, I said I was going to shave my head and paint a daisy on it. (Lifetime of bad hair.). Love your attitude.

You go girl! Rock that look! Funny, before I lost my hair I had always said I wish everyone was bald so no one had to deal with bad hair days. Have to watch what we wish for! I did get a wig but did not wear it often. Mostly just rocked a baseball cap. Wishing you a Happy New Year and that you do well on your meds.

I have not lost my hair during MBC tx but I did 20 years ago and loved being bald as no bad hair days as others have said. Csn you post a pic? Bet you look beautiful!

Hah! Try swimming without a swim cap while bald! That's quite a sensual experience. My doctor recommended going down to Hollywood Blvd (in LA) and buying an outrageous wig. I loved my ombre blue mermaid wig look, but mostly, it was just as easy going about without a head covering.

Glad you've embraced the experience. You do you.

Glad you’re coming to grips with it. What a nice son to support you that way. Good luck with your transition. Should be cooler in the summer!

What a lovely supportive son and he is right it’s just hair. It will grow back. When I lost my hair I chose to wear a wig because my youngest was only 9 months old at the time and I didn’t want all the questions from the other mums at nursery. You do what makes you feel good about your current hair situation. Prayers going up for your new meds to kick cancers butt.πŸ™πŸΎ

I have again lost my hair.In 2019 due to Taxol infusion and now due to Enhertu infusions.I look like a baby bird with the fuzz😁

I did buy a wig but I much prefer the cute hats (I get on Amazon)with a colorful scarf thru the loops on the hat.My husband says he likes that look better than the wig.

Welcome to the baldy club. My brother of all people, who never notices anything, told me he liked my new look; said I was rockin it. I have to say I love not having to fuss over hair. Cut my morning prep time in half.

Ha! My son reacted the same exact way! Own that look, girl. You're beautiful no matter what. How do I know? I read your words, I see that determination and strength. And your sense of humor always makes me smile. That's beauty, hair or not!!

Punster, we want to see that photo, no hat!

I have thinning and what I feel is a bald spot at the back of my head that others don't notice so much. I have a good wig but it is hot and itchy and too big. I got a little hair piece for the top of my head. Looks like my own hair and less uncomfortable than a wig. Took it to my hair dresser last night for a trim. I also got two new hats that I love. It is cold so I can wear them out (and in) all the time. I am more chic than I was before.

you go girl! also can wear some funky headscarves which help lots in the sun! a sunburnt scalp is not fun...! Tie Ur Knot thetieurknot.com has some really cool ones and also dry fit material which is good for a beach day in the sun.
