Seeing the TV news tonight about the prisoners released today in Israel and Palestine brought me to tears! Hard as MBC is to live with, so many people have it so much worse! Sure puts things in perspective!

We have so much to be thankful for!
Amen💜
This whole thing is so terribly sad. I keep thinking…. “There will be people, both Israeli and Palestinian, who have MBC. They have not soft couch to sit on. No comfotable bed or even a chair. And they will be in pain and haven’t got their medication. I agree with you. We are so lucky. We have running water. We haven’t lost many family members and are having to try to make sense of it all. It’s all so so sad.
You hit the nail on the head!
I look around and realise - yes it’s not easy, I swallow so much poison voluntarily, I could be employed by the NHS the amount of time I’m at the hospital- yet I still have so much to be grateful for - I’m functioning, I have freedom. Breaks my heart 😞 so so sad
sending love to all in these terribly horrific times.
It certainly does
yes, we have a lot to be grateful for. However, I’d rather not bring up the political events to this forum.
There were innocent hostages and prisoners who broke the law incl. attempted murders. Let’s not put them together.
Wishing you the best.
This goes beyond political to be humanitarian. It’s about human beings on both sides who are suffering unbearably. Because of decisions made by so called leaders on both sides—and on the outside, over many years. I think when we lump it into “political “ and turn away from the people impacted we lose sight of this. The human toll —including on a disproportionate amount of children, is at the core of what makes it such a tragedy.
I agree it is not cancer related per se, but the spirit of the post is we need to look around and realize our blessings amidst our troubles.
